Subscribers only – Speaking with Malayan Communist and Singapore exile, Tan Hee Kim

(Apologies that the film has yet to be subtitled, language in Chinese)
The Online Citizen travelled down to Hat Yai, Thailand and spoke with Mr Tan Hee Kim, who is a former member of the People’s Action Party and Barisan Sosialis. He turned to join the Malayan Communist Party after being on the run from the Singapore government for his links with the communists. Mr Tan remains as an exile from Singapore as Singapore does not recognise the peace treaty signed between the MCP, Malaysian and Thailand government.
Mr Tan is also featured in award-winning documentary by Tan Pin Pin, To Singapore With Love.
