SPP candidates for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC have taken their oath to be nominated for candidacy
Singapore People’s Party (SPP) candidates for Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC have finished taking their oath to be nominated for candidacy.
The Party’s Secretary-General Steve Chia took to his Facebook on Monday (29 June), posting a live video showing the team of Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC standing outside the Parliament house.
SPP’s Vice-Chairman Williamson Lee, as well as member Khan Osman Sulaiman and Melvyn Chiu were also seen in the video.
“Together we are going to work hard to serve you, the residents, the people of Singapore. We want to represent you in Parliament to be your voice,” Mr Chia said in the video.
He also urged the public to follow their Facebook page and Instagram on the messages that they will be speaking over the nine days of campaigning.
Meanwhile, Mr Chiu mentioned that the team will be around Toa-Payoh Centre at around 2.30pm, and Bishan Junction 8 tomorrow (30 June) after the nomination. He called for residents to keep a look-out for them.
He ended the video saying, “Rest assured residents, we will be fighting against the People Action Party (PAP), we will work hard for you. Vote us into Parliament.”
