【选举】陈振声：若李显扬参选 无任欢迎
陈振声昨日（26日）针对记者提问，若前进党成员李显杨参选丹戎巴葛集选区（Tanjong Pagar GRC)，他表示欢迎任何人参选丹戎巴葛。
“对于任何参选丹绒巴葛，我们无任欢迎。这是让居民们多一项选择。“
陈振声指出，目前最重要的事，仍是以居民和新加坡为优先。他也表示，对于居民的选择相当有信心。
“从人民行动党的角度而言，我们仍以服务居民为优先，这也是我们多年来坚守的信念。因此，我也相信居民非常了解我们，他们清楚我们的立场，也了解一路以来我们的贡献。“
丹戎巴葛集选区向来是人民行动党的堡垒，亦曾是已故总理李光耀时任内阁资政时的选区。
近日，李显杨宣布加入前进党，但针对是否参选，前进党领袖陈清木仍卖关子，未证实李显扬会否在这届选举上阵。
“政治上我们知道何时作出决定，时机很重要。“
