前进党前党员向乔立盟道歉

新加坡前进党一名党员因制作视频,指控前进党已遭外国势力渗透,以及接受外国资金,而遭该党开除。

有关被开除党员Daniel Teo Weilong,也在昨日向新加坡人民党主席乔立盟(Jose Raymond)公开道歉。

事缘Daniel Teo制作的视频,指乔立盟接受西方资金、是参与干扰前进党、以及外国影响力在本地操作的一份子。

对此,Daniel Teo在个人脸书发表公开道歉信,承认上述皆是虚假和无根据的指控,将毫无保留收回言论。

至于乔立盟则在脸书表示,除了道歉之外,他也要求Daniel Teo向《海峡时报》学子零用钱基金捐赠善款,以协助那些清寒子弟。

Daniel Teo早前向前进党秘书长陈清木医生承认,有关视频是他制作的。

陈清木则强调,该党需采取果断行动避免该党声誉因不实谣言和猜测而受损。该党珍视旗下党员,也期望党员共同维护前进党利益。

他指出:“该党不会容忍任何损害该党信誉的行为。”

这也是前进党第二次开除党员。早前该党已开除Jan Chan,后者在脸书发布发布诋毁伊斯兰教和基督教的贴文。
