建屋局称 健康客工暂安置闲置组屋底层和多层停车场

日前,网络流传一段视频,相信是由客工所拍摄,视频中疑许多客工被临时安置到某室内停车场,床架并排而列,也配置由风扇。拍摄视频的外籍客工以英语表示“一些客工感到不开心”,也指“没有储物柜,也没得为手机充电,好多(设备)都没有,只有风扇和床。”

人力部长杨莉明今日(11日)在脸书分享建屋发展局(HDB)的贴文,他称友人也分享给她有关客工被临时安置到多层停车场的视频,并表示“确实令人不安”。她说人力部和建屋局同仁也立即更进,不过未详述上述客工的生活环境是否获提升。

至于建屋局的贴文则承认,为了防堵疫情传播和改善安全距离措施,旗下承包商也临时把健康的客工,安置在不同地点的闲置组屋底层和多层停车场。建屋局指,这些是仍在建设中的项目,不过都是安全、可居住的已完成结构。

建屋局称所有这些场所都经过检查、确保环境通风舒适,并准备了诸如洗手间、充电和网络设备,以及提供客工们伙食。同时,也落实安全距离、不准客工到其他楼层和每日检查体温两次等防疫措施。只有指定客工才能代为到附近购买必需品。

杨莉明则指跨部门工作小组已全天候工作以稳定这些宿舍的状况,同时也对较小型的宿舍进行检查,不过在疫情当儿仍需要更多资源来保障客工们的健康。

她也指人力部需顾及劳工们的就业保障、工资、自雇人士收入、客工等多方面议题,其团队已“竭尽所能”( stretched to the limit),但仍会优先受理弱势群体的诉求。
