口罩价格定价过高零售商3 Star致歉 贸工部 : 续监督零售商定价行为

零售商3 Star日前因贩卖口罩价格过高而被投诉,义顺集选区议员黄国光也随之在脸书控诉其口罩价格,引起公众的议论。3 Stars也在道歉后降低口罩,而贸工部也表示并不会对3 Stars采取进一步的行动,但会持续监控零售商的定价行为。

2月10日,贸工部接获公众投诉3 Stars 在对抗病毒期间,以贩卖昂贵口罩牟取暴利。对于有商家在这段期间,意图牟取暴利,贸工部长陈振声表示,将会严正以待。

“我们并不支持这种(牟取暴利)的行为,也敦促消费者不应屈服于商家的行为,因为我们的日常供应是足够的。”

因此,于2月17日,当局针对3 Star的公司总部、仓库和多个门市部进行调查。

贸工部表示,“通过调查并面谈业主与员工,3 Stars提供了所需的资讯包括贩卖记录与发票,因此证实海外供应商的口罩价格大幅度上涨。

而零售商也对此致歉并降低了口罩价格,并表示将在定价方面更加谨慎。鉴于零售商肯于认错并调低口罩价格,目前并不会采取进一步的行动。

同时,贸工部也提醒所有企业应履行其社会责任,不要在这段时间牟取暴利。

贸工部今年2月初表示,政府将持续密切监察零售商的行为,以及消费者的投诉,若零售商被发现借此牟取暴利,将会致函给零售商。消费者可通过6100 0315向新加坡消费者协会(CASE)投诉。
