In anticipation of the next general election, The Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) will be organising its pre-election rally this Saturday (19 October) at Hong Lim Park.
The event, called “Shake It Up!”, will have an array of activities which include live entertainment, speeches as well as a spectacular light display.
According to the event’s Facebook page, some of the topics that will be highlighted are 9% GST, the need for 10 million population and CPF Minimum-Sum Scheme.
This free event is opened to the public and people are encouraged to attend it wearing red.
Attendees can also expect to listen to SDP’s potential candidates speak at the event, while they picnic and have fun with friends and family.
“Help us light up the flame for the GE. It will be a historic and memorable even. Come, join us and let’s Shake it up!” the party stated in the event’s Facebook page.
