House breaker arrested by police at Punggol

The Police have arrested a 25-year-old man for his suspected involvement in a case of house-breaking by Night at Blk 175A Punggol Field.
On its 18 Dec press release the police said it received a report that an unknown intruder had climbed into a residential unit on the 17th floor of Blk 175A Punggol Field on 17 December 2016 at about 7.07am.
Police Officers from Ang Mo Kio Division conducted extensive ground enquiries and established the identity of the suspect, they then arrested the suspect on the same day at 3.45pm.
The name of the suspect and the motive of the house-breaking are not yet revealed, investigations into the case are still ongoing.
If convicted, he will face a punishment of imprisonment for a term up to three years and possible fine.
