By Human Trade is a film by independent filmmakers, Lynn Lee and James Leong. It exposes the widespread scams in Singapore and Malaysia by agents and employers in the trading of foreign workers. Millions of dollars change hands between agents and employers – while those who pay them for jobs, mostly Bangladeshi workers, end up destitute and broken.
