Local transport operator, SMRT announced on Sunday, 5.58am via its twitter that there is no train service operating between Joo Koon Station and Jurong East Station.
It also announced that bus bridging service is avaliable.
At 7.05am, it announced that the service is resumed.

SMRT should have blocked the entrances of Pioneer MRT station if they were going to turn us away at the gantry ("no train service").
