WP does not support Elected Presidency still
The Workers’ Party supports amendments to Constitution but rejects office of Elected President.
“The office of the Elected President could be potentially crippling for a non-PAP government given the fact that a lot of the important appointments require the President’s approval,” says the Workers’ Party Secretary-General, Mr Low Thia Khiang.
