Lee Hsien Yang: Singapore – My Country

Lee Hsien Yang, brother of Singapore’s Prime Minister, has claimed in a Facebook post that he has been made a fugitive in his own country for standing up for a promise to his father, Lee Kuan Yew. In the post, he expresses his heartbreak and disappointment over being condemned in Parliament and the press without due process. Lee Hsien Yang goes on to describe the ongoing dispute with his brother over their father’s house and the will, stating that the persecution he has experienced has made him realise the wrongful persecutions of persons who were only trying to do good in Singapore. He claims that he and his sister spoke up to keep a promise to their father, and that they have paid dearly for it.
