The Johor Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine Complex (CIQ) took the opportunity to express its optimism for a strong and positive relationship between the two nations.

The Department of Immigration from the Malaysian counterpart presented a beautifully crafted cake, symbolizing goodwill and unity on Singapore’s special day.

Captured in official photographs shared online, the deputy chief of immigration at Bangunan Sultan Iskandar, Malaysia, graciously handed over the commemorative cake to Tong Weijie, the deputy commander of Singapore’s Woodlands Checkpoint.

The cake was meticulously adorned with intricate designs depicting iconic Singapore landmarks, including the stunning Marina Bay Sands, the revered Merlion, and the iconic Singapore Flyer.
