As of Tuesday noon (15 Jun), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 14 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore.

This brings the total number of infection cases to 62,315.

There are 14 new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection. Nine are linked to previous cases, amongst whom five have already been placed on quarantine, and four were detected through surveillance.

“The remaining 5 cases are currently unlinked,” said MOH.

“Based on our investigations so far, the cases are in the community, and there are no new cases in the dormitories.”

There are no imported cases today.

The Ministry will share further updates in its press release tonight.

According to last night’s press release, there are currently 138 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and two are in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU).

235 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.

34 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
