JobStreet Virtual Fair 2021 (PMET Edition)

JobStreet on Tuesday (8 Jun) announced that it will be hosting a Professional, Manager, Executive and Technician (PMET) edition of the Virtual Career Fair from 14 to 23 June 2021.

The first edition – held earlier in March – was well-received, registering over 375,000 visits and 110,000 job applications.

Following a similar format of live chats, advisory sessions, and live streams, the returning edition will focus on providing resources and tips to help candidates with their job searches and upskilling.

There will also be over thousands of PMET jobs available for application.

“The labour market in Singapore is gradually recovering from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. It is JobStreet’s mission to help connect candidates with #JobsThatMatter, and empowering them so that they can successfully land their dream jobs,” said Chew Siew Mee, Country Manager at JobStreet Singapore.

“JobStreet aims to be a partner at every milestone, from providing tips on résumé building and interview techniques to skill development for in-demand jobs and continuous career advancement.”

JobStreet’s upcoming Virtual Career Fair will feature the following:

[From 14 – 16 June]

  • Live chats, interviews, and virtual meetings with employers: Candidates will get to meet a large pool of employers from various industries (banking, education, healthcare, IT, etc.) and discover what it takes to thrive in their chosen industries
  • Livestreaming of webinars: Hosted by industry stakeholders from companies (Mediacorp, PersolKelly, Adecco, and career coaches), these webinars delve into industry-focused topics as well as developing a jobseeker in their career
  • Résumé Clinic: Over 50 one-to-one résumé review sessions will be helmed by professional career coaches including Aree Fooyontphanich. She has over 12 years of experience in human resources, training facilitation, and career coaching in industries such as hospitality, government, manufacturing, education, and consultancy

[From 17 – 23 June]

  • Livestreaming replays and job ads browsing: Visitors will get to watch replays of the live streams as well as browse job advertisements
