As of Thursday noon (3 Jun), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 45 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore.

This brings the total number of infection cases to 62,145.

There are 35 new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection. Of these, 22 cases are linked to MINDSville@Napiri, which were announced yesterday evening (2 Jun). They have all been quarantined prior to detection.

“Amongst the remaining 13 cases, 11 are linked to previous cases, of whom 6 have already been placed on quarantine, and 5 were detected through surveillance. The remaining 2 are currently unlinked,” said MOH.

“Based on our investigations so far, the cases are in the community, and there are no new cases in the dormitories.”

In addition, there are 10 new imported cases, who had been placed on Stay-Home Notice (SHN) upon arrival in Singapore. Of these, five are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs).

The Ministry will share further updates in its press release tonight.

According to last night’s press release, there are currently 216 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and two are in critical condition in the intensive care unit (ICU).

328 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.

33 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
