In a departure from the usual movement control order (MCO) regulations, restaurants and other eateries in Malaysia will be permitted to run dine-in services with a cap of two patrons per table starting Wednesday (10 Feb).
Senior Minister for Security Ismail Sabri Yaakob said in a press conference on Tuesday (9 Feb) that the National Security Council came up with the decision during a special meeting on Monday.
In addition to dine-in services, retail businesses such as fashion outlets will be allowed to reopen starting tomorrow, subject to strict standard operating procedures.
