体恤送餐员工作不易 义顺屋主欢迎到其住处短暂歇息

日前,Grabfood送餐员光着脚丫送餐的照片疯传,令人同情送餐员工作之不易,尤其是在雨季期间。然而,善意不仅仅存在在网络上而已,有屋主表示,愿意开放住家给有需要的送餐员,短暂歇息或避雨。

屋主Priveen  Raj22日在脸书上发文表示,“献给所有送餐员(尤其是骑脚踏车或摩托车),现在是雨季,但我们也知道送餐仍需继续。

“因此,如果你在义顺区,想要在被雨淋湿之际享有一杯热饮、毛巾,请到我们的住处。我们也会提供给你。”

屋主也在文末暖心送餐员,请务必注意安全,感谢送餐员的辛劳。相信屋主的暖心之举也感动了送餐员的心。

贴文发出后,也获得了逾100赞,网民也留言表示被屋主的暖举感动,也有网友表示自己每次在送餐员上门后都会准备热饮或零食供送餐员享用,感谢他们为民众辛苦送餐。

Priveen随后接受《8视界》访问,提到自己一直以来都有为送餐员送上饮料或小费以示感谢,然而会促成他开放住家的举动是因为,某天下着雨的傍晚,当他在屋内享用热饮,等待送餐员将货物送到时,看见身穿雨衣的送餐员在大雨滂沱之下骑着脚踏车,被送餐员所触动。

这也促使他欲开放住家给送餐员歇息,希望他们能够在下雨时到他家避雨歇息。

尽管他在文内并没有注明地址,但他也透露自己就住在义顺9道第318A 座组屋二楼。若有需要的送餐员可以通过脸书与他联系。

Priveen也表示,迄今已有五、六名送餐员愿意接受他的好意。然而,在了解情况后才发现,送餐员对于他的好意反而感到相当惊讶。

“这意味着他们很少被感谢,或者遇到这种待遇,这其实是很令人难过的事。”

Priveen续指,这并非伟大的举动,但希望能够借此启发人们能够善待送餐员,在门外拜访热水,让他们解渴。

“如果大家对开放住家感到不自在,可以考虑这么做。这和我们拥有多少无关,重要的是有为他人设想的心。每个人都希望得到认可,更何况是这些送餐员。没有他们,我们的生活不会如此便捷。”
