As of Friday noon (13 Nov), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed 12 new cases of COVID-19 infection.

This brings the total number of infection cases to 58,114.

There are no new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection.

However, there are 12 new imported cases, who had already been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.

Amongst the 12 imported cases, 1 (Case 58299) is a Singaporean who returned from France and 2 (Cases 58306 and 58308) are Singapore Permanent Residents who returned from US and India.

Another 5 are currently employed in Singapore. Of these, 3 (Cases 58294, 58307 and 58309) are Work Pass holders who arrived from UAE, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and UK and 2 (Cases 58300 and 58301) are Work Permit holders who arrived from Indonesia and Myanmar.

Another 3 cases (Cases 58295, 58296 and 58297) are Dependant’s Pass holders who arrived from Russia, France and UAE.

The remaining case (Case 58298) is a Long-Term Visit Pass holder who arrived from the Netherlands.

Amongst the new cases today, 11 are asymptomatic and were detected from screening and surveillance, while 1 was symptomatic.

MOH noted that it has been monitoring existing clusters for any further transmission. As there have been no more cases linked to the cluster at PPT Lodge 1A (8 Seletar North Link) for the past two incubation periods (i.e. 28 days), the cluster has now been closed.

There are no new cases linked to existing or new clusters today.

Update on condition of confirmed cases

6 more cases of COVID-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 58,008 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities.

There are currently 50 confirmed cases who are still in the hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and none is in the intensive care unit. 28 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.

28 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
