Over the weekend, Progress Singapore Party (PSP) West Coast team spread the festive joy of Deepavali by distributing gift packs to the residents.

PSP chief Dr Tan Cheng Bock alongside Non-Constituency Member of Parliament (NCMP) Leong Mun Wai were bringing smiles to families at Block 964 in Nanyang Ward and Boon Lay Market in Boon Lay Ward.

Meanwhile, party member Jeffrey Khoo was leading the team at Teban Gardens in Ayer Rajah Ward and Ayer Rajah Market in West Coast Ward.

At the same time, party member Lim Cher Hong was on the ground at Block 651 in Pioneer Ward, while fellow member Nadarajah Loganathan was doing door-to-door outreach at Telok Blangah.

In a Facebook post on Sunday evening (8 Nov), PSP West Coast team thanked all the volunteers who helped distribute the gift packs despite the sudden downpour on Saturday morning.

“We managed to pull off this mammoth task because of you!” the page wrote.
