义安公司设抗疫援潮金 符资格和潮州人获500元补助
本地慈善机构义安公司，设立总值50万元的“抗疫援潮金”，着眼让符合资格的本地1千名潮州籍人士受惠。符合条件的申请者，将能获得一次性500元的补助。
据《海峡时报》报导，这项辅助旨在协助那些在当前冠病疫情，面对困难的乡亲，届时将由各会馆协助协调申请事宜。符合资格者包括年龄21岁以上、因裁员或完全失去收入，而待业中的潮州籍贯人士。
另一方面，本地五个社区发展理事会，也和义安公司设立总值400万元的援助基金，帮助其他疫情下失业、或收入减少的国人。
援助基金一半善款由義安公司捐助，社理会以一元对一元形式捐款。副总理兼财政部长王瑞杰则表示，社理会将和基层合作，协助确认那些有需要的国人。同样地，符合资格者能获得一次性500元补助。
