On Thursday (17 September), British Transport Minister, Grant Shapps, announced that Singapore and Thailand will be added to the Travel Corridor. This means that the visitors from these countries entering England and Scotland will not need to quarantine upon arrival.
This will be in effect after 4am BST (11am in Singapore) on Saturday (19 September).
Separately, we will be adding SINGAPORE and THAILAND to the Travel Corridor list. Please check before you travel as both countries may have extra requirements before entering.

According to BBC, the decision to lift the travel restrictions for travellers from Thailand and Singapore was due to an unlikely surge of visitors as both countries are only permitting travellers to enter England for several reasons.
The people who have a work permit or are the spouse or child of a resident will be allowed to enter England.
In the same announcement, Slovenia and Guadeloupe were to be removed from the Travel Corridor list because there had been a “significant change in both the level and pace” of confirmed COVID-19 cases in both countries.
It was reported that Slovenia’s seven-day rate of cases had shot up to 29.1 per 100,000 people, from 14.4 in the previous seven days.
Whereas for Guadeloupe, the rate had risen more than six-fold in the past four weeks, according to the Department for Transport.
