邱宝忠：依赖廉价雇员非长久之计 国人专才就业机会才是主旨！
人力部周三（8月26日）宣布有意调高S准证和就业准证的薪金门槛，以刺激陷入低糜的劳动力市场，确保雇主遵守公平考量框架。
之前，就业准证持有者的最低薪金为3900元，而S准证持有者的最低薪金则达2400元。根据昨日（27日）的人力部声明，从9月1日起，就业准证薪金门槛将调至4500元，S准证也调至2500元。
新加坡前进党邱宝忠，昨日（8月27日）在脸书帖文，他始终坚持一点，即为新加坡的PMET创造更高薪的就业机会。
他强调，从长远来看，依靠廉价劳动力非长久之计。他以外籍专才薪资较优渥的金融领域为例，认为与其实施就业准证或S准证薪资门槛，倒不如更加细化和依据行业来落实薪资条件。
“我们可以研究每个行业的外籍员工比例，并采用合适的薪金标准来管控雇员人数？或许可以考虑看看。”
邱宝忠曾在本届选举，随同陈清木医生攻打西海岸集选区。虽然了解到有些公司在聘请国人时承受了较高的成本，但是他们必须重新检讨起商业模式和成本开销。
“对于国人不感兴趣的工作，我们仍欢迎外国人才，且不应阻拦他们承担这些工作。但无论是员工或雇主，应先着重国人的权益。”
