Tech giant Apple will be opening its most unique store in Singapore soon, which will be the first Apple store in the world that sits on water.

The city-state’s third Apple store is set to open at Marina Bay Sands, featuring a sphere that floats on the waters of Marina Bay which used to house the Avalon club from 2011 to 2016.

Apple has yet to announce the opening date.

But it said that the new outlet “will be at the heart of creativity” for Singaporeans to not only “capture their ideas and passions” but also to “explore, connect, and create something new”.

Singapore’s first Apple store was opened in 2017, which is located at Knightsbridge mall in Orchard Road. While its second store is situated in Jewel Changi Airport which was launched in July last year.
