登格蓄水池 铺设浮动太阳能光伏系统
公用事业局将协同胜科工业子公司胜科太阳能新加坡（Sembcorp Solar Singapore），建设本地首个大型浮动太阳能光伏系统，据了解，该系统将可满足公用事业局每年7巴仙的能源需求。
根据公用事业局发出的联合文告，该工程位于登格蓄水池，明年开始运作。
其太阳能设备容量为60兆峰瓦的系统，亦是全球最大的单一浮动太阳能光伏系统之一。
该系统将于明年开始全面营业，所制造的清洁能源将足以发动公用事业局的本地污水处理厂，从而达到公用事业局每年7巴仙的能源需求。因此，我国也是全球少数把绿色科技和水处理技术结合在一起的国家。
当局表示，在设计方面采用创新点子，以确保系统在生产能量之际，也能把对环境和水质的影响降到最低。系统部件也必须耐用，能使用25年。
