【冠状病毒19】新增社区病例 在巴士车厂工作
根据卫生部文告，8月18日新增100例冠病19确诊，其中一例社区病例是39岁本地男子，在巴士车厂工作。
武吉班让综合交通中心（Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub）成为感染群。为此当局为公共巴士所有职员都进行检测排查，上述职员便是在检测时发现确诊，且未出现症状。
卫生部解释，这名男子的工作性质无需面对大众、也不需和巴士司机和乘客接触。
至于入境病例，一例是本地永久居民，8月6日从印度返新；另一例是家属证件持有人，在本月10日从印度抵达新加坡。他们入境时履行居家通知，并接受检测。
