第二季经济表现有史以来最糟糕 陈振声：已回不去冠病前的形态
贸工部今日（11日）公布第二季新加坡经济调查报告，有鉴于疫情造成全球经济前景恶化，加上我国上半年经济表现疲弱，促使贸工部向下收窄全年经济预测，下修至5巴仙至7巴仙。
针对贸工部第二季的报告，贸工部长陈振声指出，今年第二季经济表现是有史以来最糟糕的一季。再者，他坦言“痛心的真相”，“已回不去疫情前的世界。”
有鉴于全球的局势和疫情复发，即使经济复苏也需要时间，且不太可能顺畅。
“有别于亚洲金融风暴和全球金融危机，待数月后情况就好转，这次不会得到快捷的复原。”
为此，陈振声声称目前需要重建新经济，为企业和工友创造更多机遇，也指在不确定世界局势下所有事都有解答，但肯定不能安于现状，需要共同启程。
他表示，政府开拓新道路，仍会秉持三大原则，包括安全、永续地重启经济、协助企业和工友适应新常态，以及在扶持企业的过程中建立良好的宏观经济环境。
