36岁印度籍客工 在宿舍内身亡
除了本周日（2日），双溪加株环道一座宿舍传出客工企图自杀事件，据知周一在裕廊西一座工厂改建宿舍内，有一名客工不幸身亡！
根据《新报》报导，这名36岁印度籍客工遗体，是在裕廊西繁荣路（Fan Yoong Road）的一座工厂改建宿舍内被发现。警方是在当天1时45分接获投报，医疗人员到场后宣布这名客工死亡，死因仍在调查中。
人力部也获悉此事，已联系死者家属和该客工所属国家使馆。同时，与客工雇主以及客工中心协调，为死者家属提供帮助。
近期客工自杀事件频传，坊间和非政府组织已有呼声呼吁政府关注此现象；联合领导跨政府部门防疫小组的黄循财，则表示将探讨如何为这些客工提供援助
他坦言客工目前居住设施管理严格，也无法自由出行，对任何人都可能产生负面影响。
