Workers’ Party (WP) member Gerald Giam shared on his Facebook yesterday (2 Aug) that his Party at Aljunied GRC was carrying out BlueCycle – an ongoing initiative by the WP Community Fund.

Mr Giam explained that BlueCycle is a Community Fund where residents are able to donate usable items to “less fortunate” residents in the community.

He went on to express his gratitude towards the WP volunteers who helped to transport a sofa and a washing machine to one of the Party’s beneficiaries over the weekend.

Mr Giam also invited people to donate household appliances and furniture that are no longer in need to those who need them.

“If you have any household appliances or furniture that you no longer need but are still in good condition, why not donate them to someone else who needs it?” he wrote.

Therefore, Mr Giam urged people to send an email to [email protected] if they would like to donate.

“Your kind gesture would not only benefit a fellow citizen but also help contribute to a greener planet 🌏” he remarked.
