马来西亚沙巴首长沙菲益宣布，沙巴州元首将在未来60天内迎来闪电州选举，还政予民。

目前沙巴是由亲希盟的盟党民族复兴党执政。事缘敌对阵营前首长慕沙阿曼，昨日（29日）宣称已拉拢到足够议员，有足够议席执政。

沙巴州议席有60席，加上五名官委议员，需要至少33席才能构成简单多数。

该州在未来60天内将举行州选举。

马国在今年2月底经历政坛风暴，希盟政府倒台，马国国家元首委任慕尤丁成为马国第八任首相。
