王乙康短片出现小学生 警称不采取进一步行动
本月2日，原教育部长、三巴旺集选区候任议员王乙康，被选举局告知，他的其中一则出现与小学生对话的短片，已违反选举规则，王乙康只得撤下短片。
根据选举法（第218章）第83条文，不得参与选举活动
7月5日，也有民众向警方报案，指控王乙康，让小学生涉及竞选活动，此举违反选举法令。
不过，在选举局和警方告知媒体的最新消息，警方虽确认接获有关报案，但不会对王乙康采取进一步行动，理由是选举官已经训诫后者，需遵守选举条例。
