Pioneer SMC has been officially called for People’s Action Party’s Patrick Tay with 61.98 percent of the votes.

He beat Progress Singapore Party’s Lim Cher Hong who garnered 35.24 percent of the votes and independent candidate Cheang Peng Wah who garnered 2.78 percent.

A total of 14,571  votes went to PAP while 8,285 went to PSP, and 654 to the independent candidate.
