不忍见年长者投票辛苦等待 老先生家门前设免费饮料摊
一名老先生因为不忍见年长选民顶着日头，暴晒排队投票，就在投票站附近设摊子准备免费饮料，还让民众使用家中厕所，有网民感动到“我还甘愿投票给这名uncle”。
我国今日（7月10日）举行全国大选，投票站外可见长长的人龙。网民Robert E Chan在脸书群组Complaint Singapore发帖，分享了这一项“不是要投诉，而是要感恩”的实例。
他指出，一名居住在圣婴女子小学（良言）投票站附近老先生，在主家门口设摊，提供免费饮料给年长者。他也开放了家中的厕所，给选民行个方便。
有关帖文一出，立刻获得网民们热烈回应，纷纷对老先生的举动感到暖心和敬佩。帖文在短短八小时就获得1500个反应，960人转发了。
