I am very depressed after watching this forum. Dr Paul Tambyah thinks that the alternative parties will lose every seat in this General Election. He thinks the outcome will be like the post 9/11 General Election when the alternative parties won just 24% of the popular votes but had 2 seats in a parliament of 84.

Back then the PAP frightened the electorates, telling them that they needed a strong mandate because of widespread terrorism of Al Qaeda and the likes and only a PAP government can ensure peace and prosperity for them. It didn’t turn out that way though.

Well, many wars have been fought along the lines of either you are with America or you are not. No one has won anything. The world since then has become more dangerous. Even the PAP could not save us.

So using the same 9/11 analogy, Dr Paul Tambyah thinks that the alternative parties will again be sent to the abyss. This time it will be worse as the alternative parties will be completely wiped out with 0 seat in parliament.

Ah well, we are the people. No doubt many of the elderly and the sick will not go to the poll because of COVID-19. Yes, this is a planned strategy of the PAP. They think the young and the new citizens will be led by the nose and PAP will sail through with rainbow colours.

Let’s see how it goes. As the PAP will hog the mainstream media and only news about the PAP will be heard and seen, I will not turn on my television or radio from tonight. The last time I was fed up with Tharman who I thought was more gentlemanly than the others and would refrain from personal attacks on Dr Chee Soon Juan. I was proven wrong.

Out of anger and frustration, I posted a note in the wee hours of Cooling Off Day. A week later, the police came knocking on my door. The rest is history. My flat was raided and my computers were seized and damaged. No compensation was paid to me.

So, dear citizens, if we want to continue to let the PAP do anything it wants including having our homes raided, then do vote the PAP. If not, you have a choice – vote for the alternative parties. And should you get into trouble, there will be someone to speak for you in parliament.
