As of Monday noon (29 June), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed an additional 202 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore.
This brings the total number of infection cases to 43,661.
There are six cases in the community. Of these, four are Singaporeans/Permanent Residents, while two others are Work Pass holders.
MOH shared that the vast majority of the new cases are Work Permit holders residing in dormitories.
There are no imported cases today.
Three new clusters identified
- Six of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to form a new cluster at a dormitory at 38 Woodlands Industrial Park E1 #04-18/19.
- 16 of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to form a new cluster at a dormitory at 210 Woodlands Industrial Park E5.
- Nine of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to form a new cluster at a dormitory at 170 Woodlands Industrial Park E7.
Update on condition of confirmed cases
477 more cases of COVID-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 37,985 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities.
There are currently 197 confirmed cases who are still in the hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and 1 is in critical condition in the intensive care unit. 5,453 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.
26 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
