Former Workers’ Party (WP) chief Low Thia Khiang is in “good spirits” and is recovering, the Speaker of Parliament Tan Chuan-Jin shared on Facebook yesterday (23 June).

Earlier in April, Mr Low was admitted into the intensive care unit due to a head injury after having a bad fall at his home. He was discharged on 21 May.

Mr Tan took to Facebook on Tuesday, noting that he had kept in touch with Mr Low since his fall, adding that they had a “nice long chat” when they met yesterday. In the post, he also uploaded a photo of them together.

“Glad to see Mr Low again. Have kept in touch with him since his fall and am glad to see him in good spirits and recovering. Had a nice long chat on a range of topics,” he wrote.
