小党结盟或硬撼前进党 吴明盛暗指将出现三角战

人民力量党秘书长吴明盛(Goh Meng Seng)暗示,小党结盟或硬撼前进党,也指政治并非关乎政党规模或候选人,而是将“正确”的人选送入国会中。

吴明盛于周四(18日)在脸书上发文表示,尽管他了解如今需要避免反对党应避免内讧,但在战略方向上,两党仍存在一定的差距。因此,他认为,无论是政党的规模或候选人都不是最重要的,能够将反对党送入国会才是必要的。

“我们的目的是必须确保能够进入国会,无论是他们是来自哪个政党,他们都必须具备智慧、才能或专业参与国会中的公众辩论!”

陈清木医生曾为人民行动党一员,曾于1980年至2006年间担任亞逸拉惹(Ayer Rajah)的选区议员。

目前前进党由前国会议员陈清木医生带领,陈清木医生曾于2011年总统大选差点打败前总统陈庆炎博士。

吴明盛:肯尼斯能为国会注入新力量

谈及为何会选择支持革新党秘书长肯尼斯惹耶勒南(Kenneth Jeyaratnam),他解释,肯尼斯能够为失功能的国会注入新的力量,重振并强化国会成为更具民主主义的机构。

“我选择与肯尼斯站在同一阵线,并非是因为其父亲是已故惹耶勒南,而是我阅读了他多年来的写作,显然他非常清楚他想要走向的方向,尽管我未必完全同意他的观点,但我知道他将为长期失能的国会,提供不一样力量,重振并强化国会的功能,成为更具民主主义的机构。”

指前进党未阐明理念

然而,他认为,前进党反而没有向公众宣传该党的理念和想法,借此机会斥责前进党,吴明盛直言,当初要不是他与其他小政党在2011年大选时不停“督促”人民行动党,许多公共设施也无法建立成,如多家新医院的成立、高速的地铁网络、大量新组屋的建立、地铁与组屋内的隔音屏障。

“他们当中又有多少人将大部分的时间花在思考公共政策上,他们曾提出任何建议仔细审查人民行动党的各项政策吗?

实际上,前进党早在2月份时已宣布一些政策建议。

他还补充道,在过去十年中,在他们的督促下,对新加坡产生重大的影响,若他们能够进入国会,或许还能再贡献更多的建议。

“这是我们坚持不懈督促人民行动党的努力,在过去十年间,新加坡已经出现了重大的变化,想象如果我们能够进入国会,我们或许还能够做得更多。”

暗指可能出现三角战局面

他在最后表示,尽管很遗憾联盟可能会陷入三角战中,但秉持民主精神,仍然会持续战斗到底,依照理念、保持绅士风度竞逐,也呼吁不必为此责怪谁对谁错。这似乎暗指可能在来届大选会出现三角战局面。

“我们绝对不是人民行动党2.0,只是纸上谈兵或只是个被动”副司机“,随时进入冬眠的情况”,似乎暗指前进党和工人党将无所作为。

副司机一词来自工人党前党魁刘程强,在2011年工人党的群众大会上提到,新加坡需要一位副司机在前座,当司机打瞌睡或鲁莽驾驶时用力拍醒他,让他及时回到正轨,并表示全国人民现在都在没有副司机的情况下上了同一部车,只能全仰赖一个司机驾驶,任由他主导方向。

因此国人应该开始寻找有潜能的副司机,给予适当培训与支持,让他有朝一日也能负起副司机的责任。

曾为工人党、国民团结党一员

吴明盛于2011年首次加入工人党,成为工人党中委,曾与工人党主席林瑞莲2006年大选中一同竞选阿裕尼选区,当时获得43.9巴仙的选票,创下反对党中亮眼的成绩。

然而,在2019年他却爆出在网上发表不再支持工人党的言论,网友当时将该帖文传给工人党,并直指吴明盛在与网友争论失败后,批评网友眼界狭隘、阴谋论、没有诚信。

对此,他辩护,尽管与网友争论的内容看似非常“毒舌”,但放眼整个争议历程,会发现网友的行为是诡异的。但历经此事,吴明盛也为玷污工人党名誉而选择辞职。

在离开工人党后,他选择加入国民团结党,成为该党秘书长,并于2011年与时任国家发展部长马宝山角逐淡滨尼选区。于2015年决定离开国民团结党,并成立人民力量党,于2015年大选角逐蔡厝港选区,仅获得23.1巴仙选票。
