As of Saturday noon (13 June), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 347 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore.

This brings the total tally to 40,197 infected cases.

MOH shares that the vast majority of whom are Work Permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.

Based on MOH’s investigations so far, there are 5 cases in the community, of whom 2 are Singaporeans/Permanent Residents and 3 are Work Pass holders.

蔡厝港组屋出现中国国旗案，警方表示正在着手调查，呼吁知情民众提供消息。 日前蔡厝港组屋通道上悬挂中国国旗，被市镇通报警方。警方接获通报后，着手进行调查。 该旗帜周一（5日）被发现挂在蔡厝港5道第489B座组屋、介于11楼和12楼之间的楼梯口，被居民拍照上传至本地社交平台Stomp网站。 据了解，警方已在部分12楼组屋中贴上告示，表示任何知情民众可随时与警方联系。不过当地一些民众反映，并不清楚旗帜何时被放上去，而其目的为何。 市镇会表示目前该案已交由警方处理，对此无可奉告。 根据《国徽（显示管制）法》规定，公共场合展示任何非新加坡国旗或国徽者，均属违法行为。一旦公众在任何地点可看见有关国旗/国徽，将被视为是公开展示。犯罪者或将面临最高6个月监禁或500新元罚款，或两者兼施。 但该法亦有例外条件，包括外交代表在政府授权下，展示他国国旗或国徽，并允许在船上或飞机上展示。
