新增病患大多为住宿舍工作准证持有者。今增五例社区病例，其中两人为新加坡公民或永久居民，另三人是工作证件持有者。

本地累计确诊病例已增至4万0197例。当局仍在搜集病例详情并将在晚些时候公布。

新加坡卫生部发布简短声明，截至今日（22日）中午12时，本地新增1千016例冠状病毒19确诊病例，大部分为工作准证持有者，其中15例为本地公民或永久居民。 本地累计总病例已增至1万0141例。 当局称将在今晚更新这些病例的进一步详情。
