As of Saturday noon (30 May), the Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed an additional 506 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore
This brings the total tally of infection cases to 34,366.
MOH shares that the vast majority of the new cases are work permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories.
MOH also reports five community cases among the new cases. Two community cases are Singaporeans/Permanent Residents, one Work Pass holder, and two Work Permit holders.
There are no imported cases today.
Of the new cases, 99% are linked to known clusters, while the rest are pending contact tracing.

One new cluster identified

  1. Nine of the earlier confirmed cases have now been linked to form a new cluster at a dormitory at 15A Senoko Way.

Update on condition of confirmed cases

1,096 more cases of COVID-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 20,727 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities.
There are currently 374 confirmed cases who are still in the hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and 7 are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
13,242 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.
23 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
