Seah Kian Peng is the one politicising his own walk arounds by posting them on FB

According to reports, Member of Parliament (MP) for Marine Parade Group Representation Constituency (GRC), Seah Kian Peng has said that he hoped that his solo walk around the various kopitiams and wet market in his constituency on Sunday (26 April) would not be politicised.
However, if he genuinely did not wish for his “solo walk around” to be politicised, why did he post about this “solo walk around” publicly on Facebook (FB).
Seah undertook this “solo walk around” in his capacity as an MP which he clearly wanted the public to know about. He would not have uploaded an FB post about his walk otherwise.
The office of an MP is a political office. So, if he was walking about in his capacity as one holding a political office and then publicising such walk on social media platforms, isn’t he the one who is politicising his walk?
With that in mind, isn’t it a tad hypocritical to ask others not to politicise his walk when he was the one who politicised it in the first place? Is it yet another case of one rule for me and one rule for another? And if Seah fails to see the irony of his own words and actions, is it a question of entitlement to the max?
If it was genuinely a “solo walk around” to engage with the constituents in his GRC, isn’t it enough to do the walk and engage with the people who are also out and about?
After all, in his own words, Seah had said that most people recognised him. Why is there also a need to upload a post on FB unless the intention is to show everyone who might not have seen him that he as their MP is doing his part? And if so, isn’t that him politicising the walk by his own volition?
Head scratch anyone?
Unless of course, in his narrative, it isn’t politicising if it is to his advantage. In other words, it is only considered politicising if he is being criticised for walking around despite the circuit breaker measures being in place?
Seems a bit rich to wag his finger at others not to politicise the matter when he is the one that is politicising it in the first place!
Yet again, none of these issues would arise if the Government would just announce that general elections are postponed until the COVID-19 pandemic is under control.
Instead of putting the onus on people not to allegedly politicise situations, just postpone the general elections and all these issues would go away.
