As of 25 April 2020, 12pm, The Ministry of Health (MOH) has preliminarily confirmed an additional 618 cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore.
This brings the total number of infected in Singapore to 12,693 cases.
MOH stated that the vast majority of whom are Work Permit holders residing in foreign worker dormitories. Seven cases are Singaporeans/ Permanent Residents.
There are no imported cases today.  MOH confirmed 9 cases in community (7 Singaporeans/Permanent Residents, 2 Work/ Long-Term Visit Passes), 12 cases involving Work Permit holders (residing outside dormitories) and 597 cases of Work Permit holders (residing in dormitories)
Seven new clusters were identified on Saturday. They are:

  1. ASPRI-Westlite Papan (5 Jalan Papan)
  2. Kian Teck Hostel (30 Kian Teck Avenue)
  3. SCM Tuas Lodge (80 Tuas South Boulevard)
  4. Northpoint City (930 Yishun Avenue 2)
  5. 21 Defu South Street 1
  6. Construction site at 8 Martin Place
  7. Construction site at West Coast Vale (107 West Coast Vale)

Of the new cases, 81% are linked to known clusters, while the rest are pending contact tracing.
46 more cases of COVID-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities.
In all, 1,002 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities.
There are currently 1,214 confirmed cases who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and 24 are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.
10,465 are isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.
12 have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.
