The Tuas South Dormitory, Jurong Penjuru Dormitory 2, CDPL Tuas Dormitory and 21B Senoko Loop has been declared as isolation areas under the Infectious Diseases Act, said the Ministry of Health on Thursday (23 April).
These notices will come into effect on Friday, bringing the total number of dormitories that have been gazetted as such to 25 so far.
The affected areas in Tuas South on Tuas South Street 12 are Blocks 5, 7, 9, 11 and 13 while at Jurong Penjuru Dormitory 2 at Penjuru Place, isolation areas are Blocks 30,32, 34 and 38.
The affected blocks at CDPL Tuas Dormitory are blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 at 6 Tuas South Street 15.
As for 21B Senoko Loop, the affected blocks are A and B.
To date, the biggest cluster of COVID-19 cases in the country is the S11 Dormitory @ Punggol with 2,234 confirmed cases followed by Sungei Tengah Lodge with 752 confirmed cases.
The 25 dorms that have been gazetted as isolation areas so far are as follows:

Following the MOH’s announcement of another 1,037 cases on Thursday, the number of COVID-19 cases in Singapore has passed the 11,000 mark with a majority of these cases linked to work permit holders residing in these dormitories.
To date, Singapore has recorded 12 virus-related fatalities, most of whom were elderly Singaporeans.
Yesterday morning, a 46-year-old Indian national who is a confirmed case was found motionless at a staircase landing in the Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. He died from his injuries. Investigations are being carried out over the man’s death.
