After delivering 5,000 masks and some crackers to the migrant workers living at Westlite Woodland dormitory yesterday (14 April), activist Gilbert Goh proceeded to distribute meals to migrant workers, poor families and Malaysian workers.
He shared it on his Facebook account, explaining that he collaborated with celebrity chef, KF Seetoh, to cook up a feast to feed 300 people.
Mr Goh stated that he and his team of volunteers distributed 150 meals to migrant workers at Westlite Woodland Dormitory. Other than migrant workers, Mr Goh had also contributed to the poor families at Ang Mo Kio and Woodlands, as well as the Malaysian workers who are housed in the Woodlands flats.

“Together with celebrity chef Kf Seetoh, we distributed 300 meals to the migrant workers at Westlite Woodland dormitory (150), poor families at AMK (80) and Woodlands (20) and 50 more meals for our Malaysian workers housed in the Woodlands flats,” wrote Mr Goh.

Seeing how the Circuit Breaker is in effect, Mr Goh assured everyone that he and his team always practised safe distancing measures so they would not breach the Circuit Breaker regulations.
He had also complimented how efficient the volunteer drivers were as they carried out the meal distribution.

Mr Seetoh had also shared his experience of contributing to the communities in collaboration with Mr Goh and others. He mentioned that they will plan for more contributions in the future and even after the COVID-19 storm calms down.

Here are a few photos of the people who received generous help from Mr Goh and Mr Seetoh:
