学校、幼园如期下周一开课 网民:应优先学生和教职员安全

昨日(19日)教育部长王乙康宣布,尽管目前疫情严峻,但学校与幼儿园仍将在下周一(23日)开课,而且学校也会采取严谨的防疫措施,如曾到过海外的学生和教职员,自返校日起,都必须遵守14天缺席假;学校内必须暂停所有课外活动,还有学生间必须保持距离。

而对于学前教育中心,则会实施全体教职员和学生进行频繁体温检测。

他表示,经过与跨部门工作小组和医疗专家讨论,才作出上述要求3月14日回国后学生教职员,需遵守缺席假的决定。

此决定引起网民的反弹,大部分网民认同教育部固然面对两难处境,但认为一切比教育更重要的是,学生与教职人员的安全,在疫情严峻的情况下,教育部无法阻止那些家庭执意趁着未开学期间出国旅游,建议暂时展延开学时间,避免更多的传染。

 

网民反映有学校仍在办活动

网民OtBo:部长大人,你的声明相当矛盾,我女儿的学校今天明天仍然在办理课外活动和青年节 动,若要对那些刚回国参加活动的人实施缺席假未免也太晚了。很不幸的是,我们真的有不负上任何社会责任的家庭。我强烈呼吁我们的部长赶快行动,让学校延期甚至关闭,确保安全,有些学生是需要搭上公共交通上课,这风险太高而且会无形中将病毒传染到其他人身上。

网民 Diana Kristen:谢谢教育部的决定,然而缺席假代表着他们又可以在新加坡内乱晃?为什么不是居家通知,而且我们要怎么确保他们会向教育部通报自己的旅行史,即使是只有一日游。

网民Kelly Teo:如何确保那些过只是到他国一日游的家庭,真的有通报自己的旅行史?

还有网民则建议政府应该将六月份的假期提前,或在关闭两周,也可以将课程转至网路课程。

网民 Hemalatha Jagadeesan:政府应该考虑关闭学校两周,如果采取严禁的防疫措施,疫情较为缓和时,所有的课程可以再延后至6月假期。我真的无法确保到底有多少家长是可以对负责任地通报自己的旅行史,我真的很害怕将我的孩子在假期后送到学校。

网民AshTan:很简单,将六月份的假期提前移至三月份,现在虽然有长假但不能出国旅行,六月份的短假期也可以防止他们走太远。

网民Yip Wei Chet:为什么不是关闭两周让所有人能够平等被对待,不会将课程落下。如果教育部真的这样做只会显得他们没有能力处理将那些从国外回来的人。如果真的要起到作用,关闭学校两周是最好的选择。

部分网友也质疑教育部的做法是否真的将所有情况都考虑进来,如怀孕或年长的教职员,或是学生在搭公共交通的过程是否很有可能出现传染的风险,还有孩子的情况。

网民建议网络课程

网友 Mervin Ang:那些比较脆弱的老师和教职员如怀孕还是年长的又该如何?人力部才刚宣布要这群刚回国的人在家工作或保持社交疏离。这样看来,很有可能会在下周开学之际,确诊人数又在上升。那又该如何保护这些对教育系统作出贡献的老师和教职员。

网民 Akvinder Kaur: 王部长,我能够理解和感恩学校一系列防御措施,可是还有更大的隐忧是公共交通和通勤的状况。那又该如何解决?另一个隐忧是如果孩子出现轻微症状,甚至出现无症状感染,他们可能是通过家长或祖父母被感染。难道就不能实施网络课程吗?让能够在家中上网的学生透过网络上课,而那些无法在家中上课的学生由学校骨干人员进行教导。可以理解不能完全顾及所有方面,但至少可以试用几周。虽然能够理解大部分都是境外移入的案例,但也有很多案例是无法追踪的。

吁保持谨慎

网民 Karen Yeo:部长,请为我们的小孩考虑,关闭学校。很多国家都这么做了,为什么我们不能?学校可能演变成病毒的温床,因为小孩就算你怎么警告或劝导,他们就是不肯洗手干净。大人都无法随时留意孩子的情况了,而且确诊病例越来越多。

网民 Sai Ho Wong:这么多国家都为了预防病毒关闭学校,难道对我们新加坡就这么难吗?香港学校甚至关闭了好几个月!许多家长依然边工作边照顾孩子,父母总是找得到方法适应。这周孩子都在家,我们可以确保他们的健康。
