选举局在宪报发布 七集选区投票区范围获修订

选举局今日（12日）在政府宪报上发布，援引《国会选举法》对七个集选区下的投票区范围（Polling District）作出修订。 根据今日下午5时发布于宪报的通知，选举局对七个集选区作出修订：宏茂桥、蔡厝港、义顺、碧山-大巴窑、白沙-榜鹅、三巴旺以及淡滨尼。 选举注册官可依据选举法第9（2）节条文，更动各选区投票区范围，确保各投票区和投票站客服务的选民不会过多或太少，每个投票区平均分配约2千500至3千500位选民。 例如宏茂桥从原有62个投票区增至64；蔡厝港从43增至45个。白沙-榜鹅集选区拥有最多投票区，从78增至81个。 不过，上述宣布并不意味着选区范围更动，或意味着即将选举，实则当局在去年2月也曾对投票区范围进行修订。 我国来届选举最迟必须在明年4月前举行。选区范围检讨委员会是在去年8月成立，，然而时隔近7个月，都还未有委会发布选区划分报告的消息。 昨日（11日），副总理兼财政部长王瑞杰出席圆桌论坛和电台访谈，其中针对何时会举行大选，他并未正面回答，不过坦言当前政府专注于稳定经济和抗疫，疫情状况也会影响当局宣布举行大选的时机。 至于若疫情持续会否采取不同的选举措施以保障群众健康，王瑞杰称政府也会探讨各种可能性。
