On Sunday (9 Feb), the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) took to Facebook to share that a few Good Samaritans have been leaving tokens of appreciation in the form of cartons of Milo at fire stations and fire posts islandwide.

The SCDF paramedics and staff expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the “kind-hearted ninjas” for such a heartwarming gesture amid this worrying period involving the novel coronavirus spread in Singapore – which has seen a total of 43 infected cases in Singapore so far.

What’s guaranteed to light up a smile – as it did to the SCDF personnel – is the uplifting note that was written and attached on each carton of Milo, telling the front-line heroes to “hang in there and stay safe”.

Additionally, the SCDF offered up its thoughts to all healthcare and service staff, including its own SCDF career officers and NSmen, for selflessly and ceaselessly dedicating their lives to protect the community in this time of distress.

In the Facebook post, the SCDF also encouraged netizens tag a front-liner that they know and continue the spread of motivational vibes.
