针对诉求和反馈 普杰立:必要时公开事主个资避免误导民众

针对本社之前报导,一名患红斑狼疮的单亲妈妈申请公积金遭拒一事,政府当局有话说,认为本社应该公开部分个人资料,如真实姓名,以方便查询和跟进,也可避免误导民众。

交通部兼通讯及新闻部高级政务部长普杰立医生,周一(2月3日)在国会指出,若接获公开投诉或请愿,政府会公开部分的相关个人资料,不会全部都公布出来。

特斯拉副教授询问政府,在避免泄漏太多个人隐私的前提下,当局是否根据实际情况公布投诉,或申诉事主的个人信息。

普杰立回答,公布个人信息,主要是让有关机构能够避免引起争议或误解,且所公布的信息也会非常具体,让相关人士掌握更为全面的信息,甚至在必要时能够质疑政府的说法。

需要时公开部分资料

他表示,虽然有些公开投诉是匿名进行,但是政府还是在需要时公布部分资料,如投诉者身份,以便减少政府在陈述事实时出现任何模糊不清的情况,也能够减少民众的猜疑。

“当投诉存在不准确性,政府必须做出纠正,提供准确信息,这样除了能够维护政府的公信力之外,也能有效地为民服务。”

“若民众被误导了,可能会引起他们忧虑,甚至会根据错误信息采取行动,做出不利于自己的决定。”

他们是针对本社于去年12月17日作出的报导,指一名患有红斑狼疮的单亲妈妈因为病情待业多年,因而申请领出公积金以养活家人,却遭拒绝的事件。

主流媒体亦未提及蔡女士真名

事实上,并非只有本社做出了有关报导,《新明日报》也报导了相关新闻,并且还有跟进新闻,然而该社首次做出的报导用了“蔡女士”,第二次用的报导则跟随本社使用了“蔡莉莉”(译音)。

公积金局事后曾做出澄清,公开了当事人的姓名和求医详情,更指有关报导不够全面。文告中指出,已有数个政府机构都积极提供协助了,报导中却没有提到,并且在报导新闻时使用假名。

实则报导中,我们都有提及社会与家庭发展部,在获悉蔡莉莉致函总统后,已回函表示将审视其个案。

普杰立指出,政府机构为民众提供了多项寻求帮助和反馈的管道,并且认真看待所有反馈。“无论是公开或通过管道做出的反馈,我们都重视,会采取必要行动解决问题。”
