新冠病毒：中国境内确诊逾2.4万 死亡病例490人
截至今日（5日）凌晨12时，中国境内的新型冠状病毒确诊病例已达2万4324例，累计死亡病例490例，不过累计治愈出院病例达到892例。
据来自国家卫生健康委员会官方网站的数据，香港目前也有18例确诊病例，以及一宗死亡病例。澳门10例以及台湾11例。
其中湖北武汉的死亡率仍高于中国其他城市。湖北新增3156宗确诊病例，死亡65例，累计1万6678宗。
国家卫健委专家组成员蒋荣猛认为，武汉的ICU队伍不足以救治众多重症病人是原因之一。
目前，中国多个省市继续提升防疫措施，包括黑龙江哈尔滨、山东临沂、河南郑州等，都陆续作出近似“封城”的举动，包括严防外来人员入境和禁止市内民众聚集等。
迄今为止，多达20个国家都已通报出现确诊新冠病毒的患者。至于新加坡本土的新冠病毒确诊病例，已增至24例，其中有四名病患近期内都没有到过中国，包括一名印度尼西亚籍女佣。
世界卫生组织（WHO）早前宣布中国新型冠状病毒疫情，构成国际关注的突发公共卫生事件（PHEIC）。
