接受隔离人士 政府分发每日百元补贴

政府鼓励那些在防疫措施下,必须隔离的人士能够在家中进行隔离,并且为他们提供100元补贴。

为了阻遏武汉肺炎(新型冠状病毒)传染,预计将会有更多人被隔离。而目前被隔离的人员,皆为曾和首四个病例患者有过密切接触的75人。

但是随着更严格的新措施实施后,约2000名被认为具患病风险、过去两周曾在湖北居住/旅游、或携带签证到湖北、当地居民及自湖北回国的长期签证持有者,都需面对隔离。他们其中,也包括一些来自教育领域、托儿所和乐龄看护中心的工作人士,他们至到昨日(1月28日)都还在请假期间。

根据传染病法令(Infectious Diseases Act),藐视隔离的惩处要比缺勤来得严格,首次触犯者将可能被罚款一万元、监禁不超过六个月,或两者兼施。重犯者处罚加重。

鼓励人们家中隔离

新加坡国家发展部长兼财政部第二部长,也是领导政府跨部门工作小组的部长黄循财指出,病菌传染风险随着湖北旅客而增加,因此实施新措施是必要的。“虽然病毒目前未在社区内传染,但是若不控制则存在真正的风险。”

为了减轻当局的负担,部长鼓励家中拥有设施的居民,可选择在家中进行隔离,包括不与他人共享房间和卫生间等设施。

在家中进行隔离的人士,不能和同居一屋檐下的人们有肢体触碰,或离开家中。抽查行动通过登门和电话进行,以确保他们遵守规定。

而家中没有类似设施的人士,可以选择到政府的隔离设施。

当局也将为隔离和独立生活者提供帮助,如购买日常用品。

政府还为在武汉病毒抑制措施下必须隔离的人士或他们的雇主,每日提供100元的津贴,因为隔离期不会影响他们的年假。若隔离区的居民出现武汉肺炎症状,将必须送往医院,作为可疑病例处理。

卫生部指出,政府正在为所有怀疑和确诊病例支付医药费用,因为患者的病情是由新出现的疾病所引起的。

黄循财遗憾补贴传假消息

黄循财昨日(1月28日)在脸书上指出,遗憾有人指100元检疫津贴是假消息,事实上有关补贴并非首次分发。

他表示,之前在SARS(严重急性呼吸道综合症)时,就有发出过类似补贴。

“这是提供给在本地的雇主,以补贴那些必须隔离的雇员以及本地/拥挤居民自雇人士。这不是发给被隔离旅客的补贴。我们的宗旨是协助新加坡人。”
